The market for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) has been locked in a downward spiral since January. NFT projects have turned to a new kind of role: the vibes manager. The job is something of a cross between a marketer, influencer and investor relations officer. The goal? To keep things positive, no matter what – and to keep the market going on a positive vibe. The vibes director is also known at some companies as a “Chief Vibes Officer” or “Director of Vibs” The job involves writing “hundreds” of posts a day on Twitter – where the vast majority of NFT discussion is located – to promote projects to newcomers and reassure existing funders.
