Global Securities Watchdog Charts Out Crypto 'Road Map'

The International Organization of Securities Commissions said the reports will be generated by a fintech-focused task force that was formed in March. The task force's agenda will guide IOSCO's policies for the near future, officials said. The watchdog said it will deliver recommendations by the end of next year to help securities regulators improve oversight of digital assets, focusing on crypto products and decentralized finance systems. The report will be delivered by a task force formed by the board of directors of the IOSco Commission in March by its board of director. The global markets watchdog said the report will deliver the global policies needed by regulators to address the considerable risks arising from a rapidly developing, complex and opaque sector of the digital asset market in the future.
