Bitstamp is one of the oldest crypto exchanges still functioning. The Luxembourg-based exchange will charge €10 per month for inactivity fees starting on August 1, 2022. Users can buy or sell crypto, make a deposit or withdrawal, or stake assets into Bitstamps’ rewards program to avoid being subject to the fees. The fee will be charged in euros or digital assets for accounts that have not been active in over 12 months and have a balance under €200. For accounts holding over €0, users will first be charged first in euros; if the euro balance is insufficient to cover the fee, the equivalent is charged in other currencies and cryptocurrencies. The U.S. branch of the crypto exchange will not charge in the U.K. Source
