Developer Ambushes NFTs In Public Talk, Makes Crypto Sponsors Real Mad

Developer Mark Venturelli was scheduled to give a talk called “The Future Of Game Design” at Brazil’s International Games Festival last week. A few seconds in, he flipped and revealed the talk's real title: “Why NFTs are a nightmare” to a room full of applause. Venturelli has since uploaded a translated set of the slides accompanying the presentation, which you can check out here. He pulled the stunt with the blessing of the event's organisers, as some of its main sponsors were furious at the content of Venturelli’�s talk, some of whom were furious with the content.
