Crypto Exchange Binance.US Hires New CFO Amid Market Rout

Binance.US, the U.S. arm of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, named a new finance chief. Jasmine Lee replaces interim CFO Eric Segal, who has served in the role since October. Ms. Lee most recently served as CFO and chief operating officer of digital investing startup Acorns Grow Inc. She rose through the ranks at financial services company PayPal Holdings Inc., where she ultimately held the dual roles of COO and CFO for the consumer product group. Bitcoin and other crypto assets have declined sharply in recent months as the Federal Reserve is tightening its monetary policy and raising interest rates. That is putting pressure on crypto exchanges and platforms, with Voyager Digital Ltd. filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Source
