Under terms of the tariff, customers who are able to have power disrupted at the utility company’s discretion will receive a $2 credit adjustment per kilowatt hour. The agreement is similar to the relationship between Texas-based crypto miners and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) ERCOT. ECROT has a similar relationship with the Texas utility company and the state-run utility company that operates under the terms of a tariff agreement with crypto miners, ECRO. The tariff is based on terms of an agreement between the utility and the National Energy Security Council. Source
