Accused Bitfinex Bitcoin Money Launderer Granted Permission to 'engage in Legitimate Employment' Heather Morgan granted pre-trial release in order to get a job. Morgan is accused of conspiring to launder money laundering 94,636 bitcoins stolen from Bitfex in 2016. Morgan and her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, were arrested early this year and could face 25 years in prison if convicted.
